The following organizations offer low-cost vaccinations and/or microchips. Please call the listed organizations to verify locations, times and prices.

Animal Spay Neuter Clinic, Auburn
Shot clinic: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Animal Outreach of the Mother Lode, Diamond Springs

City of Folsom
Rabies $6, Microchipping $20, cash only. Fourth Wednesday of each month from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Folsom Zoo Sanctuary.

City of Sacramento Animal Care Services
First Wednesday of every month: Rabies vaccines $5 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
Third Sunday of every month: Free vaccination clinic for low-income residents from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sacramento residents only; proof of residency required. Proof of low-income status or public welfare assistance required, such as Medi-Cal, SSI, Disability, Food Stamps, EBT, WIC, AFDC, etc. Microchips available for $10 (cash only).

Sacramento County Animal Care and Regulation
Rabies $6, Microchipping $20, cash only. Third Thursday of each month from 5 to 7 p.m.

Sacramento SPCA
A vaccination clinic is held each Monday (excluding holidays) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

VIP Vaccine Services
Offers weekend vaccine clinics at various times/locations, throughout the Sacramento area. Search web site by zip code.

Yolano Veterinary Service, Georgetown
Low-cost outdoor pet vaccinations. Please call for dates and times of upcoming clinics.
