Spay Day Volunteers
Every February, the Sacramento Area Animal Coalition undertakes Spay Day Sacramento — the largest one-day spay/neuter event in the country. More than 400 volunteer veterinarians, vet techs, vet students, shelter staff and animal advocates are needed to achieve our goal of spaying and neutering approximately 1,000 pets of low-income families. Planning for Spay Day begins in September. Read more about Spay Day volunteer opportunities.
