LOCAL ANIMAL RESCUE GROUPS LINK PAWS IN LARGE ADOPTION

What:
Fall for a Pet adoption opportunity. More than 50
adoptable pets on-site! Pet Halloween Photo Fund-Raiser!
Where: Florin Mall, 6117 Florin Road, Sacramento
When:
Saturday, October 20, 2001, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00
p.m.
Why:
Sometimes the shelter can be an overwhelmingly sad
place that people may be shy to visit. SAAC is working
to create more opportunities for the public to meet
and adopt wonderful homeless animals.There will also
be displays discussing the pet overpopulation problem
and one rescue group will be raising funds by offering
to photograph family pets in their Halloween costumes!
"With all that is going on at Florin Mall this weekend,"
says Jennifer Fearing, President of the Sacramento
Area Animal Coalition, "We're hoping families come
on down to shop, pick out a pumpkin from the pumpkin
patch out front, and adopt a new furry family member!"
